REVITALIZATION OF THE SILVER LAKE IN OPAVA

We worked on the revitalization of Silver Lake in Opava from 2021 to 2023.

 

We enhanced the sandy beach near the restaurant, making it an even more welcoming place for families and individuals seeking relaxation by the water.

 

Additionally, we constructed new gravel paths, providing visitors with comfortable walks around the lake.

 

Our revitalization efforts also included the creation of a natural area featuring a dry riverbed, embankment, and a stone amphitheater. Over the children's area, we have built a pedestrian bridge, surrounded the surroundings with retaining walls made of Jurassic limestone, and gabion walls from local Moravian rubble.

 

To improve access to the water, we modified the lake shores and established several new entry points into the water.

Throughout the entire area, we planted 128 trees, 3,200 shrubs, and over 2,000 perennials. We will be responsible for the vegetation as part of ongoing care for the next 5 years.
